Online TrainingOver the years there have been many questions during our personalized customization and training engagements. We have not only packaged these questions into video responses and screencasts, we have expanded it to provide requests for videos based on member need.
The format is a self-serve video site designed to help individuals and or small companies achieve more. The site includes searching for and requesting simple short videos to address specific needs and/or illustrating features and products that help small businesses. Membership is free. |
Our Story - Our Goal
The Edkins Group was founded by David Edkins. David's background started straight out of high-school with ten years at Hewlett-Packard selling their high quality consulting services across the country. He left HP to get involved in commercial real estate in his local area for a small boutique brokerage - after four years and $35 million of transactions primarily in office, the market became highly inflated and difficult to identify and recommend opportunities to pursue. During this time, David created an online marketplace for commercial real estate leads across the country that encompassed over ten thousand registered users and members.
David went back into technology - with a local company testing a concept of "managed services" for small businesses - they decided to discontinue the service. David left the company and started his own managed services company - pulling together a partnership with back end networking coverage from India and stateside providing 24hr service levels. During this time he realized technology was moving to the cloud and sold his business to a competitor.
Soon after an old friend of David's contacted him. He had sold his company and then, years later bought it back, only to experience it had low morale and ineffective systems and processes. They were working off excel sheets trying to grow into other offices. David identified and implemented Salesforce as the platform to run the company and in the process turned around morale and took an account receivables process for payment from 85 days to 23 days. He was hooked - he had learned what it could do.
David decided to help as many small businesses as possible remove the mystic of Salesforce by keeping it simple. He can take any business model and bend Salesforce to effectively maximize their results. By keeping things simple, he has helped hundreds of companies across the country maximize their results.
