Introduction - Salesforce1 ListView Issue

Came across an interesting nugget regarding viewing list views on Salesforce 1 for new users. 

Have you ever added a new user and had them log into Salesforce 1 for the first time only to notice they do not have any of the listview drop down options that you may have? 

It is not about permissions - actually, it is a known issue in Salesforce - and the answer can be found here:https://success.salesforce.com/ideaVi.... 

Basically, the users will not be able to see the dropdown options on their mobile device (for the downloadable app) until they first look at the list on a non-mobile device. If they use the mobile browser, they can see the list view dropdowns. Odd.
